2019 Annual Business Meeting
Christian Science in Metro Chicago

Thanks to those who attended the annual business meeting on November 2, 2019 and for your enthusiastic support of the activities of our joint activity, Christian Science in Metro Chicago. Here’s a brief recap of the many ways we have been amplifying the message of the Christ and Christian Science in our communities:

2019 Accomplishments (Jan-Sep)

  • 111,500 Contact Points
              84, 000 via Website & Social Media
                7,350 via Expos & Natural Awakenings magazine
               5,400 via Telephone Line
             14,870 via Field Communications
  • 43 average website page views per day
  • Facebook & Instagram advertising promoting every Christian Science lecture (reaching 3000+ per lecture), promoting every weekly Sentinel Watch podcast (reaching 2,000-3,000 people), and promoting the Bible Lesson (reaching 9,000+ people/mo in Sep and Oct)
  • Exhibited at two Body Mind Spirit Expos – more than 500 conversations, 3 Christian Science lectures, 25 sales of Science and Health
  • Served an average number of 423 unique callers on the telephone call-in line with an average number of 6,200 calls/month
  • Published two print newsletters and more than 50 email e-newsletters sharing with 330 subscribers news of upcoming events and other resources available in metro Chicago

2020 Objectives
The proposed 2020 Strategic Plan was unanimously ratified. CLICK HERE to download the plan.

2020 Budget
Estimated expenses for 2020 are $72,000.
